Résumé / Abstract

Amyloglucosidase and pullulanase were co-immobilized on to granular chicken bone (BIOBONE) by non-covalent interactions. Optimum glucose output by the co-immobilized system was achieved using a ratio of 0.7 unit amyloglucosidase to 10 units of pullulanase added to the bone, which resulted in immobilization of 21.3±0.2% of the total activity added. The addition of pullulanase increased the glucose yields (by 1.2-2-fold) from starch compared with immobilized amyloglucosidase alone. Co-immobilized amyloglucosidase and pullulanase were able to hydrolyse insoluble starch to a relatively greater extent than the free enzyme system
