Résumé / Abstract
Nowadays Spaniards are having more and more meals outside their homes and these meals are beginning to play a remarkable part in their diet. After relating the items found in the meals to people's partiality to some kinds of food and the frequency of their consumption, the author examines how the number of courses included in the meal and the different food items which the meals consists of can affect the nourishment of the people who usually have those meals. This paper also suggests some steps the authorities should take in order to ensure that people can find a variety of nutritionally-balanced meals in bars, restaurants and canteens.
