Résumé / Abstract
The separating technique - for which a patent has been granted-helps to reduce solid wastes from mechanical effluent treatment plants in a controlled screening and cyclone treatment The solid wastes are thus effectively conditioned for subsequent re-use as raw materials in paper manufacture. Two-year operating experiences have revealed that the primary ash demand can be met by up to 75% fron material obtained from separating systems of this kind. This means a reduction by up to 80% of solid wastes to be deposited on landfills. Controlled monitoring of charge potentials has not revealed any disturbing influences of the separating technique on paper production processes.
