Résumé / Abstract

There are a lot of tasks in the field of practical preservation of historical buildings and restoration which often include the removal of weathered layers, dust and other things. The Aptitude of laser technique for cleaning has been investigated at several weathered mineral grounds. There were included several sandstone, limestone, porphyry bricks and roofing tiles. The efficiency was described by using reflection measurements, Measurements of the optical roughness, light microscopy and SEM-analyse. The particular strength of this technique is shown by cleaning complicated structures.
