Résumé / Abstract

The eschatological representations of the book of Jubilees (2^nd Cent. B.C.) understand the thousand years as a time characterized by the devil's absence and the reign against the enemies. These characteristics are present likewise in the millennium' of Rev 20:1-10, and they allow to conceived this time in a literal sense as a period stretching from Christ's death and resurrection until the end of the world.
