Résumé / Abstract

The sociological and pastoral antiquated territorial structure of the Suisse dioceses is a reason to think about the revival of the old canonical structure of the Church Province. This structure would be an adequate expression of Second Vatican Council's Communio-ecclesiology concerning the grouping of partial churches. In this sense the partial churches could be the pioneers of the Church's missionary and pastoral acting in a future Europe of regions.
