Résumé / Abstract
In this paper we present the Thomistic anthropology, with its complex balance between Aristotelianism and Platonism, and later we discuss the dilemma of gradual corruption of the human being, a kind of impairment which irremediably leads to death. The central problem is the essence of the human soul, in its nebulous interplay between the inmortality and the contingency.
