Résumé / Abstract
Due to the technical supremacy of the Anglo-American countries, the English language has acquired an unquestionable predominance in the field of terminologies which is sometimes deplored by purists while it is generally welcomed by pragmatists. There can be no doubt that up to now no national language for special purposes has managed to prevent the penetration of English terms. To what extend does the Croatian / Serbian computer and internet terminology, given here by way of example, accept or modify foreign terms, and where does it replace or complement them by autochthonous expressions? Which lexico-semantic relations can there be observed within this domain?
