Résumé / Abstract

There are 7263 private drinking water wells in the district of Osnabrück. The costs for possible aftercare measures, such as small treatment plants or connection to the public water supply were calculated. Alternative agricultural options, such as integrated agriculture or organic farming, were compared with regard to reduction of nitrogen levels in groundwater.
