Résumé / Abstract
Underlying the bio-ethical debate of our days an opposition is to be discerned between the right to live on one side and that to pursue happiness on the other. In recent perspectives of utilitarianism or empiricism the concept of a ,person' is reduced to viability whereas happiness' is held to be nothing more than an individual determination of its subject. Opposing this reductionist views the uncompromising protection of life becomes the absolute stronghold of bioethics: in Gods unwavering love endeavours life is freed from any need to justify itself into the fulfillment of his promisses.
