Résumé / Abstract

It was studied the scheme influence in the 'Jamaica' behavior; to that purpose three scheme were used (90 + 50 cm × 15 cm; 90 + 50 cm x 30 cm y 140 cm x 15 cm), they were establish in a Random design block during the period May to December of the 1999 on a fluvisol soil in Jucaibama located belonging to Bayamo Municipality in Granma province. The evaluations to the yield and its components were made to flower and seed production; a test of fiber to rope making was made too and from fresh flowers were elaborated soft drink, wine and sweetmeat. A highest significative difference was showed to fresh flowers and seeds yield and there were a tendency of best behavior to 2nd and 3rd scheme (47,629 pl/ha).
