Résumé / Abstract
This paper valorises the use of the digital photogrammetry in order to map bed morphology of the Sebou River. The available data, to develop and use an hydraulic model, were very scarce and could not quantify the morphology of the river especially in meanders. The study use stereoscopic pairs of aerial photographs and a photogrammetry's software (RESTIT). In order to facilitate the reconstitution of the cross sectional areas, the photographs (with a scale of 1:20000) were taken during a low water flow period. The results obtained are very satisfactory, the coefficient of correlation between the measured and the reconstituted cross sections is R
2 = 0.96. This encourages the use of the numerical photogrammetry to investigate retrospectively the morphology of the Sebou River.
