Résumé / Abstract

The patient was for the first time hospitalised at the adolescent department of the Psychiatric clinic when he was 14 years and 3 months old. The diagnosis was a disturbance of adaptation, anxious and depressive syndrome and behavioural disturbances. In the family history, recurrent depressions have occurred (mother and her mother). During the hospitalisation, the patient was cooperating, active in psychotherapeutic groups. Due to the sub-depressive changes of mind and psychic tension, the patient was treated by antidepressants and was cured in cooperation with the civil servant of the local department for the care of children. During one year after the hospitalisation, the patient did not have any behavioural problems. Thirteen months after the end of hospitalisation, the patient admitted three weeks of narcotic abuse accompanied with the pilferage. After one week of intravenous abuse of heroin, the patient described quick changes of his state of mind, anxiety, and uncontrollable longing after narcotic during two days abstinence. It is an open question, whether the quick start of the narcotics abuse was caused and affected by the situation and relations in the family, genetic disposition, and preceding psychiatric disorders, or if it was a part of psychopathology of the socialised behavioural disturbance.
